At around the 7:28 mark, you can see the head of our little green man, (I'll refer to him as "LGM" for short).
Hmm..hard to see the face there, so let's zoom in a bit (thanks je28):
Now things are starting to get at a little interesting. Our LGM does have some striking facial characteristics. But the green is a little distracting.. so let's take that away..

I was told the chosen website to release this video was interactive; anyone could upload a photo and appear in it...maybe, this is why you see the LGM from someone who uploaded it.
ReplyDeleteThe interactive concept would seem more plausible if we see the LGM for more than a split second. I have heard about the concept of being able to place yourself in the video, but what is the point for such a short amount of time? If you blink you'd miss yourself. :)

ReplyDeleteHe looks shorter because the others are standing on a platform. I agree that it doesn't make sense to have you insert yourself in the video because the green guy is shown for just a split second. How fun would that be to barely see your image?

Somehow, I disagree with the singers standing on a platform. Many artists are side by side with different heights. Take a look: Usher is in the back row and you can barely see him. Should he not be taller if platforms were used?

ReplyDeleteHe appears to be short because he could even be crouching down slightly. it looks as though he is trying to hide but is not really hiding.. I would not be surprised if LGM was Michael..It is just something I bet he would do..

There have been many "joker" moments MJ has put into this hoax that have cracked me up.....MJ as DAVE DAVE on LKL on 9/3 being the pinnicle of hysterics. That took cojones.....but the Little Green Man is so funny it has me laughing out loud. I love this man and his sense of humor. Go back through the WATW 25 and although edited from different takes, there are numerous occasions Tony Bennett can be viewed without his Lil Green Friend. 4:13,4:21,4:29,4:50,5:02,5:19,5:30,& 6:05. MJ edited in the "alien"(a name the media often called him)just once and in bright green!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
ReplyDeleteOkay, the LGM could be crouching as some of you have stated. But, if Tony Bennett could been seen within the clip many times without the LGM and then, at some point, BAM, there is the LGM that has been edited in...this also proves, that with so many talented people, especially, today, anyone could have edited in the LGM. Personally, I strongly believe MJ to be alive! But, don't you think that focusing on this LGM to interpret he is among the living is a bit far-fetched? Could editing in or photoshopping in the LGM is someone's way of convincing themselves that MJ is still among the living?

Also in the video from Entertainment Tonight, it is stated that the green man was being used to insert Michael Jackson in to the video with the other performers. This is obviously untrue as Michael does not appear "inserted" amongst the performers at all. The Green Man is just there. The list of performers includes the following: Michael Jackson (stock material only. As in a man in a green stocking perhaps...lol

As to the concerns that it is too short a time to make sense since people wont see themselves for more than a second- well I only see some of the "major" celebrities for just a second- infact I would miss them completely if you don't go through it frame by frame. Personally I think for Mike to appear in the room- even as LGM would be opening too much of a pandora's box for me. What would be the point of faking your death if your gonna walk around- even if it is in a green suit. Remember that studio is a small space to begin with, people would have been bound to see him...

You really believe that MJ would have been standing in the back with his nephews? come on, he would be standing front row...loving the attention! And then....an x amount of people in the room all keeping a secret? no way!!!

ReplyDeleteIt was also reported that two green men were used, and they look completely different from each other. I don't know what their purpose is, since Michael wasn't exactly inserted into the video, and I don't buy for a minute that people are going to be able to insert themselves into the video. If that's the case, they did a horrible job of editing the video to allow that.

Well, everyone is talking about the green man. And what about Michael's direct apperance at 4:18 of the clip, singing behind a micro and wiht a hat? If you watch closelly, is clearlly Michael... The Mouth, the nose, the eyeborws, evem the sama kind of t-shirts we used to wear.

ReplyDeleteI don't think it is Michael, but rather someone who wanted to be part of it but only could be if they were singing with the group. But... They probably put the green around him to cover him up (green screen effect) but in that shot but forgot to edit the shot before adding it to the footage.
